Okay, I know I haven't updated in a LONG time...so here goes the summer in a nutshell. Why they say "nutshell" I don't know, maybe because I'm nuts, or crazy or whatever! Here goes.....Jamison knocked his front teeth out on the neighbors swing set. It was traumatic and awful! He now has two fake front teeth that look so real. They don't seem to bother him.
Ryan played baseball again this summer and Tony was able to be his coach. He did a great job and had a lot of fun!
Tony and Ryan and Jamison went on the Father and Sons camp-out. Tony said he didn't get much sleep because the boys in the tent next to his talked all night long. They loved going together!
Abbey went to girls camp for the first time this year! We missed her so much! Tony and I were able to go and do some rock climbing with her on the last night! It was so fun to be with her!
We refined our swimming skills at the pool a few times this summer! Thanks Trent and Karie for your generosity!
We went on a family trip to the cabin for 4 days! It was one of the most enjoyable times we have had as a family! We played from dawn to way past dusk! 4-wheelers, side-by-side, zip-line (dangerous, and painful), camp fire and songs, hot tub, wild animals, chipmunks, frogs, birds, Yummy food, guns, games and movies! We could have stayed another week! Thanks Grandpa and Nana for letting us use the cabin!
Swensen Reunion was a blast with all the cousins together, hiking, camping, games, home-made pizza, swimming etc. Thank you Debbie and Rick for such a fun time! We love the shirts that you made!
Jamison turned 4 and had a Super hero's party! We had bad guys, cryptonite (sp?), black bombs (black balloons) and web spray (silly string). The kids were all different super hero's like Viper, Phantom, Falcon, Torpedo, Quake, and most important Wolverine! We had a lot of fun! Jamison is so into the super hero thing. It cracks me up! I don't know if he knows they aren't real. I won't burst the bubble to soon. It is so fun to hear what he says about all of them.
Jilleen and the kids came and visited for a few days! We went to Mesa Falls and went swimming! It was fun to have them visit!
We got a new puppy named "TJ" short for Tuck Jr. Or we just call him "puppy". He is a little Bishon Frise and is really cute! He is starting to fit in, it takes a while to get routines down and the potty training and everything! The kids paid for him and are taking good care of him.
School started on Wednesday and we had a good week! The kids have good teachers and each has a friend in their classes. They worry a lot about that. I remember worrying about the same things they worry about!
I know I left out things but this is the "nutshell" version.
I will do better to fill you all in on the funny things that happen in our lives not just the boring facts.
