On Christmas Eve we had a yummy candlelight dinner (pork chops that were to die for)! That is a tradition in my family growing up to have a candlelight dinner on Christmas Eve. (not the pork chops, that's my new thing) We acted out the nativity and Jamison was a very attentive Joseph and Chandler was the baby Jesus. Abbey was Mary and Sanny was the angel and Rye guy a shepherd. Christmas Day was so fun and relaxing. The kids did the typical "line up so we can go open presents" picture. We played all morning without any power till lunch time, finished the pancakes at noon, started making aspargus soup and potato cheese soup which were so yummy along with bread and bread sticks. This is a tradition that I am definately keeping. It snowed all day and Tony had to snow blow for two hours to clear the drive way. He did have time to make a cool snow fort under the tramp. At least I know that it won't cave in on them. The day went by way to quick!
